A national network of law-school veterans clinics, with individual representation handled by member programs.

The consortium does not directly represent veterans on individual claims. Contact a member clinic to ask about its own intake and eligibility requirements.

Organization And Scope

The National Law School Veterans Clinic Consortium brings together law-school legal clinics concerned with veterans’ legal needs throughout the country. It works with VA, courts, educators, lawmakers, and veterans organizations. Its OGC listing should be read alongside an important statement on its own contact page: the consortium does not directly represent veterans in their individual claims, although many of its members do.

Getting In Touch

For an individual case, the consortium directs veterans to its member list. That list identifies law schools and their veterans clinics, providing a starting point for finding a program to contact. Membership in the consortium does not mean that every clinic accepts every legal issue or serves every location. Ask a clinic about its case types, geographic requirements, current intake, and any limits on the assistance offered.

Checking Representation

The consortium’s board contact is for questions about the organization and its work. Use a member clinic’s own intake arrangements for a representation request, and confirm who would be responsible for your matter. If the request involves a pending VA decision, tell the clinic that at the outset. Check the relevant representative’s authority and accreditation as appropriate; appearing on a consortium membership list alone does not establish an attorney-client relationship.

Confirm The Person And The Appointment

Recognition of an organization does not replace checking the individual representative. Confirm current accreditation, the organization's appointment instructions and whether it can assist with the requested matter. This is a factual directory profile, not a recommendation or paid placement.
