Paralyzed Veterans Of America: VA Claims Assistance And Accreditation
Free national benefits assistance with particular experience in spinal cord injury and disease.

Organization And Scope
Paralyzed Veterans of America, or PVA, operates a national service-officer network offering free VA benefits assistance. Its official benefits page says the officers can help all veterans and their families. The program describes particular experience with spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, ALS, and other spinal cord or motor neuron diseases. That focus is useful context, but it is not a statement that only veterans with paralysis may ask for benefits help.
Getting In Touch
The National Service Officers page explains that officers represent veterans, dependents, and survivors before VA and the Board of Veterans’ Appeals. It links to an office finder and provides a national benefits department contact when there is no officer in the person’s area. Membership eligibility is presented separately, so do not substitute the membership application for a request for claims assistance.
Checking Representation
Contact the benefits program to explain the decision or application you want help with, and ask about an appointment and accessible communication arrangements. Confirm what records the officer needs and how to send them. OGC lists Paralyzed Veterans of America and provides a way to check the individual representative’s accreditation. Keep the officer informed of new VA correspondence after representation is arranged; the listing itself does not establish that your case has been accepted.

Confirm The Person And The Appointment
Recognition of an organization does not replace checking the individual representative. Confirm current accreditation, the organization's appointment instructions and whether it can assist with the requested matter. This is a factual directory profile, not a recommendation or paid placement.
